Back here in Melbourne, it's almost time for Buddha's Day and Multicultural Festival. It'll be happening next weekend in Federation Square and promises to be a treat for vegetarians. The food stalls are totally veg and there's hours of Vegi-licious cooking demonstrations from the following folks:
- John Maurice of Gourmet Everyday
- the STREAT team
- Agus Putro of Bopha Devi
- Nick Rogatski of Lentil as Anything
- Andy Harmer from Vue de Monde
- Tony ‘Ah Loy’ Lew from Enlightened Cuisine
- Angela Nicolettou, who demonstrates at the Centre for Adult Education and The Green Grocer
- Naomi Douglas and Carter Lawrence, who are Fifteen Melbourne trainees with David Kapay
- Josh James of The Vegie Bar
- Dylan Roberts from St Jude’s Cellars
We enjoyed ourselves at last year's festival and will be checking it out again in 2010.
This is already marked out in GREAT BIG LETTERS in my diary for next weekend.
