I think the best use of them is in pilafs (yum!), in summery salads, and as a topping for soups and other dishes. Also in wet curries or veg dishes (as long as they are not overcooked).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33131521.post-65299786283763247972009-10-28T11:36:47.008+11:002009-10-28T11:36:47.008+11:00You're welcome, Carla! Glad these posts have kept you entertained. :-) I like the idea of curry powder - maybe I can try something with Indian-style spices in the future. And I wonder about a sago pudding-inspired sweet version...Cindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07147906610629741961noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33131521.post-65651611752486368942009-10-27T10:34:13.906+11:002009-10-27T10:34:13.906+11:00These have been the most entertaining and informat...These have been the most entertaining and informative posts. It was thanks to your blog that I even found out you could buy Pearl Cous Cous in the supermarket! I was addicted to it a while back and now the obsession continues thanks to the fact I can source it (though you are correct, it is harder to fit into a student budget). Oddly I cooked a similar dish the other night with the pearl cous cous, mushrooms, and silverbeet, though I didn't go for the cheese option, I used curry powder instead. I didn't even read the recipe on the back!PJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12210701278846436069noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33131521.post-17039236680773319622009-10-27T09:00:25.219+11:002009-10-27T09:00:25.219+11:00thanks so much for this!
