We typically need a shopping trip devoted to tracking everything down before we make any of them. They are worth it though! This one was just magical in a time of sickness for me. :-)Cindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07147906610629741961noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33131521.post-60946782275242139342011-08-24T11:55:07.173+10:002011-08-24T11:55:07.173+10:00You made Ottolenghi's soup! I keep on thinking how wonderful it looks, but then get put off by the number of ingredients, and I always seem to be missing something.

So glad to read you made and enjoyed it. Perfect soup weather at the moment, and this seems like such a hearty one. I shall bring it back up to the top of the list and make it soon. Thanks for reminding me.kathrynhttp://kathrynelliott.com.au/blognoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33131521.post-118973396043899552011-08-16T17:16:18.045+10:002011-08-16T17:16:18.045+10:00Katya - yes, they are quite herb-heavy! Better off trying some of these recipes with one or two less herbs than not at all, though. :-)

Johanna - I'm sure you could try yoghurt or even skip that part altogether, it's a relatively thin broth even with the sour cream.

Welcome, Spring n Vien!
