You can find it at health food stores or, if you're on the northside of Melbourne, at the vegan Radical Grocery. It comes in dried granules that you can rehydrate with water. TVP has a texture similar to minced meat so it's great for pies, lasagna, spaghetti bolognese and so on.Cindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07147906610629741961noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33131521.post-18447088783252232822013-04-02T08:57:39.737+11:002013-04-02T08:57:39.737+11:00Have just discovered your wonderful blog as I have...Have just discovered your wonderful blog as I have just become vegetarian at 59! On the other hand he'd lap up the Tabasco so maybe we can strike some sort of compromise. ;-)Cindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07147906610629741961noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33131521.post-9646852584060563592007-04-07T18:01:00.000+10:002007-04-07T18:01:00.000+10:00Mum (it's Stu, son of Jane!) puts diced tomato in ...Mum (it's Stu, son of Jane!) puts diced tomato in our guacamole which i highly recommend if you haven't tried it... adds a bit of texture and is also a cool, fresh contrast to the richness of avocado.
Oh and she also adds some tabasco sauce for a bit of a kick. Also good...

I am a big fan of her guacamole :PStruhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16663675069518941507noreply@blogger.com
