I think there were some dips which might have caught your eye!

Maria, you should definitely try it - you can probably imagine how well a spongey crumpet soaks up the batter. :-)

Hi SD! Funny you should mention Black Sapote - this was the first time I'd ever seen the fruit and I bought one to try later. The dark chocolatey flesh was quite stunning though I found the flavour a little bland. A market stall holder mentioned that they're great in smoothies and I reckon they would be. I had a basil and lime sorbet at the Frosty Mango, which was good but not quite great.Cindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07147906610629741961noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33131521.post-18971407558880121072009-08-03T15:39:46.417+10:002009-08-03T15:39:46.417+10:00I've always enjoyed the other exotic-fruit-fla...I've always enjoyed the other exotic-fruit-flavours from the Frosty Mango (to go with my obligatory mango icecream, in a multi-scoop affair) - especially the ones you don't tend to get elsewhere (Black Sapote comes to mind). Mango sorbet is equally important...especially to take home.

It's the one stop we'd incessantly nag for half the trip (each way) to Townsville for Christmas.SDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02723467463204904324noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33131521.post-40372557832786910592009-08-03T13:56:28.944+10:002009-08-03T13:56:28.944+10:00The photos look amazing, well worth the hike. Love the french crumpet idea, might have to steal that for myself!Maria@TheGourmetChallengehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15151377276441364679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33131521.post-663201375174870852009-08-03T11:06:22.929+10:002009-08-03T11:06:22.929+10:00I'd be with you in appreciating a warm bed and...I'd be with you in appreciating a warm bed and a fully equipped kitchen but the walk looks beautiful - and I wish I could get a look at that not quite veg cookbook - I have a richard cawley cookbook that has great recipesJohanna GGGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08594201473931487490noreply@blogger.com
